Largegenuine green jade horns or tusks. These gorgeousjade pieces were hand carved into a curved tooth or tusk shape and are considered amulets of ancient origin, worn to protect against the evil eye. They are a lovely dark green color with a few minor inclusions visible in the horn and they have been highly polished to a shiny finish.Old stock from a jewelry store that closed. They have a small drill hole in the flat ends. You could wire wrap them, add a bail or drill them. They are 3-4 inches long and 3/4 inch across the top.
The Italian's call themcornuto, corno, or cornicello. Corno means "horn" and cornicellomeans "little horn" -- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn-shaped amulet.
